Defendant appeals his convictions of two counts of receiving stolen property valued over one hundred dollars contrary to NMSA 1978, Section 30-16-11 (Repl.Pamp. 1984). He claims the trial court erred: (1) in refusing to grant a new trial based on jury misconduct in considering dictionary definitions; and (2) in denying admission into evidence a taped conversation between defendant and a witness, and in denying defendant the opportunity...
