Appellant Fisher appeals a summary judgment granted appellee Beach dismissing Fisher's claims for defamation and malicious prosecution. The trial court held that the summary judgment proof established as a matter of law that Beach did not institute legal proceedings against Fisher and that the slander claim was barred by the statute of limitations.
