This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of Jackson County, wherein the appellant, Margie Diann Lockett was found guilty of the murder of Luke Broderick. Ms. Lockett was indicted for capital murder with the underlying felony of armed robbery. The jury returned a verdict of murder and she was sentenced to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. From her conviction and sentence,
