This personal injury case, in which liability was admitted, resulted in a verdict for plaintiffs in the total sum of $229,000. Defendants appeal only those parts of the special verdict awarding Harriet McPherson $53,000 for "loss of earning capacity" (presumably "value of working time" as stated in JIG II, 157) to the date of trial and $121,000 for future medical expenses and future loss of earning capacity.
