The appellant, Kenneth Hawkins, was discharged from his job as a kitchen utility worker at the Marriott Hotel in Springfield on January 26, 1982. Hawkins's application for unemployment benefits was denied by the representative of the director of the Division of Employment Security. Hawkins applied for a hearing before a review examiner.
