Defendant, Edward Joseph, was charged under LSA-R.S. Article 14:64 by bill of information with the armed robbery of $54.00 from Billy Gully. The robbery was alleged to have occurred on February 28, 1981. Following an August 13, 1981 arraignment on this charge, the matter was continued to May 21, 1982. On that day, the bill was amended to show the amount taken as $109.00, the victim as Betty A. Bruer, and the date of the crime as April 21, 1981. Three...
