The sole issue raised in this appeal concerns the ownership of certain oil and gas leases. The appellee, Hawkins Oil & Gas Inc. (hereinafter "Hawkins") entered into a Joint Operating Agreement with the appellant, Texas Oil & Gas Corp. (hereinafter "Texas") for the drilling of a well identified as the Knuckles # 1 Unit. Texas was the operator of the unit and Hawkins was a nonoperator.
