In February, 1978, a jury found defendant guilty of first-degree murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548. Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment. Defendant appealed as of right to this Court and we affirmed defendant's conviction in a memorandum opinion dated July 30, 1979 (Docket No. 78-1439).
