This appeal is from a case involving an injury which plaintiff, Nolan Griffin, sustained while aboard a boat owned by defendant, Carl Lecompte, Jr. Plaintiff filed suit against Carl Lecompte, Jr. and his liability insurer, General Agents Insurance Company of America, alleging that he was entitled to recover damages for breach of the warranty of seaworthiness under the general maritime laws of the United States.
