HENNESSEY, C.J.
After being discharged from his job as a cook at the Colonial Rest Home on May 21, 1982, Donald C. Grise filed a claim for unemployment compensation benefits pursuant to G.L.c. 151A. His claim was denied on the ground that his discharge was due to "deliberate misconduct in wilful disregard of the employing unit's interest." G.L.c. 151A, § 25 (e) (2).
