In their first argument respondents contend that the trial court's findings of fact are not supported by the evidence. They argue that the finding that "Kay Helms Adcock was present on one or more occasions when Michael Joe Adcock was beaten with a belt by Lanny Wilson Presley, but did not intervene for her son's protection and did not report same to appropriate authorities," is not supported by sufficient evidence.
