Plaintiff brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that defendant's decision to offer him a nine-month rather than a 12-month employment contract and to not extend him any salary increase in the offered contract violated his constitutional rights to freedom of speech, to due process and to equal protection of the laws.
