Norma P. Wright filed this suit against William F. Bailey and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (hereafter State Farm) for damages arising out of a June 7, 1980 automobile collision. State Farm was made a defendant both as Bailey's liability insurer and as plaintiff's uninsured or underinsured motorist carrier.
