The defendants, Jack Tuesno and Lionel Williams, were charged by bill of information with illegal possession of stolen things valued in excess of $500.00 in violation of La.R.S. 14:69(B)(1). The trial judge found the defendants guilty of the lesser included offense of possession of stolen things valued at $100.00 or more, but less than $500.00.
