1. Plaintiff Wanda Phillips is a white female citizen of the United States and a resident of McNeil, Columbia County, Arkansas.

2. Defendant United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, AFLCIO ("UBC"), is a labor union within the meaning of 29 U.S.C. § 101, et seq., and an employer within the meaning of 42 U.S.C. § 2000e(b).
