A Learjet plane crashed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on January 19, 1979. William A. Murray, a passenger, was killed and his estate brings this action. Pursuant to a funding agreement, the three parties remaining in this case1 paid $1,750,000 to the plaintiff in settlement of potential liability.
