On March 17, 1962, appellant was adjudged guilty of second degree murder. A few days later he was also convicted of assault with intent to kill. Appellant was sentenced to an aggregate sentence of thirteen and one-half (13-1/2) years to twenty-seven (27) years in prison.1 No appeal was taken.
