Hester was removed from the practice of law by order of this Court on July 8, 1981, In the Matter of Hester, 247 Ga. 791 (279 S.E.2d 711) (1981), after he was convicted in February 1980 in federal court of 12 counts of bank fraud. Upon conviction Hester received a sentence of ten years in prison and a $60,000 fine. Hester's sentence was later reduced to three years in prison and...
