Plaintiff River Plate Reinsurance Company, Ltd. ("River Plate") brought suit against defendants Jay-Mar Group, Ltd. ("Jay-Mar") and Jay Martin ("Martin"), asserting various causes of action arising out of an agency agreement under which Jay-Mar was to issue insurance on behalf of River Plate.
