The appellant was convicted of kidnapping and aggravated assault. Both crimes were held to be of a dangerous nature since the jury found they involved the use of a dangerous instrument. The jury found the appellant not guilty of armed robbery. The court found the following aggravating circumstances: 1) the threat of infliction of serious physical injury, 2) the use of a dangerous instrument, 3) four prior felony convictions,...
