On April 9, 1981, Linda Howard (defendant) was arrested and charged with three counts of a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A) for possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances as enumerated in Schedule II of La.R.S. 40:964. Defendant pled not guilty. After two mistrials and during jury selection of the third trial, defendant changed her plea and pled guilty to all counts, including Count...
