Defendant, General Motors Corporation, appeals by leave granted a decision of the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board. The facts are not in dispute.

On October 24, 1955, plaintiff, Evelyn M. Sanders, injured her knee when she was struck by a frame at work. Dr. Franklin Wade diagnosed plaintiff as having a dislocated kneecap and performed a "closed reduction" at McLaren Hospital. Plaintiff returned to work but had a problem with repeated dislocation...
