Jerry Dean Woods (defendant) was convicted by a jury of first degree murder and armed robbery. Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole for twenty-five years on the murder charge, and to a term of twelve years for armed robbery; the terms are to be served consecutively.
