Petitioner, pro se, filed an application for a writ of habeas corpus, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 asserting that he had been deprived of rights guaranteed by the due process clause of the 14th Amendment, and that he had been placed in double jeopardy in violation of the 5th Amendment.
