Plaintiff, Joanne Jenkins, filed a medical malpractice action in the circuit court of Cook County. Her husband, Roosevelt Jenkins, is also a named plaintiff. He alleges loss of consortium. The cause of action arose during the course of Mrs. Jenkins' treatment at the University of Illinois Medical Center. The defendants to the action are numerous physicians, nurses, and hospital support personnel...
