Defendant, Southhold Realty Corporation (Southhold) appeals the trial court's denial of Southhold's land claim in a condemnation proceeding. We affirm.

Southhold, on 21 October 1981, filed a motion to intervene in an action by the North Carolina Department of Administration (DOA) to condemn a 3.799 acre tract adjacent to Jockey's Ridge State Park. The condemned land borders Roanoke Sound on the west and Jockey's Ridge State Park...
