Defendant appeals from a final order in this action in lieu of prerogative writs removing him from his position as Chief of Police of the Township of Mount Olive pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2A:81-17.2a3 and 2A:81-17.2a4. The trial judge found that defendant admitted violating N.J.S.A. 2C:28-2 by falsely swearing before a State Grand Jury investigating acts of official corruption in the Mount Olive Police...
