In this appeal we consider whether a dockworker's exclusive remedy for an occupational injury is under the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA or the Act), 33 U.S.C. §§ 901 et seq. (as amended 1972), where part of the cause of injury occurred before the Act's coverage.
