Plaintiff Gage filed a wrongful death action against defendant in 1974. Great American Insurance Company was later added as a party plaintiff. After appeals, a judgment for plaintiffs for $1.5 million was affirmed. Defendant paid the judgment plus interest pursuant to MCL 600.6013; MSA 27A.6013, as amended by 1980 PA 134.
