Appellant, Glenn Howard Grindstaff, was indicted by a grand jury for Prince George's County for the offense of bribery pursuant to Maryland Code (1957, 1982 Repl.Vol.), Article 27, § 23. He was accused of bribing James Clements, an employee of Mt. Rainier, Prince George's County, in order to influence him in the performance of his official duties as a police officer. Appellant pleaded not guilty, waived a jury trial and filed a motion to dismiss...
