In this post dissolution of marriage proceeding the trial court found that the defendant was in arrears by $5220 on his child support payments, found him in contempt and ordered that he be jailed until he "purges himself." In his appeal the defendant claims that the court erred (1) in failing to grant his motion to modify the support payments, in finding him in contempt and in punishing him by imprisonment in view of his inability to comply with the order...
