The single issue presented in this case is whether the Agreement on Detainers (hereinafter Agreement), Neb.Rev.Stat. §§ 29-759 et seq. (Reissue 1979), imposes upon the state seeking custody of a prisoner a duty to proceed to obtain custody of that prisoner without unreasonable delay once that state has lodged a detainer against the prisoner and requested his custody.
