This is a case of first impression in this jurisdiction and arose from the following facts.

On January 18, 1983, in Oakland County Probate Court, Juvenile Division, Donald E. Chapel, Jr., a juvenile, pled guilty to breaking and entering an occupied dwelling. MCL 750.110; MSA 28.305.
