On November 10, 1983, respondent filed a "Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction" on the ground that the petition was not filed within the statutory period prescribed by section 6213(a)1 or 7502.2 On December 12, 1983, petitioner filed "Petitioner's Objections to Motion to Dismiss".
