WILLIAMS, J.

After a trial to the court, sitting with a jury, Patrick Ralph Sweet was found guilty of rape in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. Judgment was entered on the verdicts and Sweet was sentenced to life in prison for the rape, life in prison for the burglary, and 10 years in prison for the first weapon charge, all sentences to be served consecutively...
