CAPORALE, Justice.

As the result of an automobile accident, appellee, Carol T. Thynne, brought suit against the appellant, City of Omaha, under the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Tort Claims Act. The city appeals from the $351,385.94 judgment entered against it. We reverse and remand for a new trial solely on the issue of damages.
