While a parolee on a 1977 robbery conviction, defendant was charged in an indictment with promoting prostitution in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child. These crimes allegedly occurred on or about October 18, 1980 and involved a 15-year-old female resident of the Rochester Children's Center, a youth detention facility where defendant was employed...
