Defendant Richard Dean Turner was convicted under the 1978 death penalty law (Pen. Code, § 190 et seq.)1 on two counts of first degree murder. Special circumstance allegations that the murders were committed during commission of burglary (§ 190.2, subd. (a)(17)) and that Turner was convicted of more than one offense of murder (§ 190.2, subd. (a)(3)) were found to be true...
