Statement of the Case

In 1979, defendant pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary (Pen. Code, § 459). The imposition of sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on probation. While on probation, defendant was arrested for robbery (Pen. Code, § 211). As a result, the People moved to revoke his probation.
