OPINION BY JUDGE BLATT, March 28, 1984:

On May 5, 1971, Kenneth Jones, petitioner, was sentenced to two consecutive terms of two and one-half to five years each; and, after serving his minimum term, he was paroled on August 21, 1976. He was arrested on June 6, 1977 in Allegheny County for firearm violations, and on June 9, 1977 a parole violation warrant was filed against him based upon these charges and for technical parole violations.
