Clyde Richard Spurlin appeals his jury convictions of first degree murder of his nine-year-old son Scott and second degree murder of his wife Peggy, contending the court erred in failing to give a requested manslaughter instruction as to Scott's death, that error tainted his second degree murder conviction for Peggy's death and the evidence does not support his first degree murder conviction for Scott's death.
