In this action, inter alia, for an adjudication of title to a valuable oil painting, plaintiff asserts that the painting was given to him by his father as a birthday present in 1963. Defendant contends that there was no valid gift of the painting, and the Supreme Court, Kings County, has concluded, after a nonjury trial, that the defendant is correct.
