The plaintiff, Jane Preisner, sued the defendants, the owner and the operator of an automobile, claiming that the named defendant negligently caused a rear end collision with another automobile which the plaintiff had stopped at a stop sign on an entrance ramp to the Wilbur Cross Parkway in New Haven on July 17, 1972.
