Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 9-1(a)(1)), armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 18-2(a)), and theft (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 16-1(d)).
