The appellants, Asnaldo Sanchez and Jesus Gonzalez, were tried and convicted by a jury of conspiracy to import cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 952(a) and 963, and of attempt to import cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 952(a) and 963 and 18 U.S.C. § 2. Gonzalez was also found guilty on two counts of importation of cocaine, 21 U.S.C. § 952(a) and 18 U.S.C. § 2, and two counts of possession of cocaine...
