TJOFLAT, Circuit Judge:

In August 1982, Reubin Peaden was convicted in the district court, after a jury trial, of five offenses that he committed while participating in a cocaine distribution operation in Florida and Texas from October 15, 1979, to August 23, 1980.1 He appeals, questioning the sufficiency of the evidence to sustain his conviction of two of the offenses2
