Cynthia Watson brought this products liability action against several named and identified defendants and one unidentified defendant designated as "John Doe." After the applicable statute of limitations had expired, Watson discovered the identity of the "John Doe" defendant and moved the court for leave to file an amended complaint identifying the John Doe defendant as Unipress, Inc.
