RONEY, Circuit Judge:

Gabriel Antonio Pino was convicted of importation and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C.A. §§ 952(a) and 841(a)(1). Pino was caught attempting to smuggle cocaine across the border in his digestive tract.
