The defendant, John Frederick Imus, appeals the judgment and sentence entered on his conviction by a jury of rape in the first degree (RCW 9A.44.040) while armed with a deadly weapon (RCW 9.95.040) which was also a firearm (RCW 9.41.025). The single issue before us is if the trial court correctly granted Imus' request to discharge his attorney and to represent himself at trial. We affirm.
