DUPONT, J.

After a jury trial, the defendant was convicted of criminal impersonation in violation of General Statutes § 53a-130 (a).1 The defendant has appealed2 claiming that the trial court erred (1) in ruling that the defendant's presence was required during the trial; (2) in denying his motion to dismiss and his motions for judgment of acquittal; and (3) in failing to charge as requested.
